    Crow Parfleche Authentic Late 1880’s Beautiful Design Work.
    This is a really pretty Crow Parfleche with a nice simple but striking design. Described as Crow when I bought it several decades ago and certainly fits Mable Morrows description of Crow design elements and motifs in her book, “Indian Rawhide”. 13” x 25”. Made of elk or rawhide. Design shows dark blue outlines with light blues, reds, yellows, and greens. Two hole ties with several holes on interior flaps for tying options. Shows beautiful wear from age and use and has earned its genuine patina. And yet is still in firm and bright condition. Heavy and substantial. You can see the scraper marks on the hide. Here’s a chance to own a terrific and authentic relic from a time that has passed us by. A truly beautiful classic! It needs a new caretaker. Museum quality.
