Description
This amazing teapot measures approx 9” tall when the handle is in the upright position and is 8” wide from the far side across the front to the tip of the spout.  In a letter you will receive with this item it states that the teapot came from a Oriental Bazaar in Yokota, Japan in 1999.  At that time the teapot was believed to be over 90 years old. This style pot would hang on a rod over an open flame to heat the water for the tea.  It is nicely decorated with symbols and what could be explained as fire designs.  This item is in excellent, antique condition and is free of any flaws.
