    Description

Imperial German, WW 1 Great War, RARE ( 1902-1918 ) Kaiserliche Marine Navy Officers Dress Parade Dagger Belt & Buckle Germany had a very small Navy prior to Tirpitz taking the helm of the Imperial Navy it was an extremely small part of the German military. Parade Dagger Belts are extremely rare. In fact this is only the third one that I have seen and purchased in over 40 years of collecting. I have another listed separately with some fraying that is easily repairable around the keeper to the buckle if the purchaser cares to. The belt measures 36” with room to let out another 3”. The Officer’s Visor Cap pictured is NOT INCLUDED. Imperial Germany was a federation of twenty-seven kingdoms, duchies, principalities and "free and imperial cities". By far the largest of these components was Prussia, whose King also bore the title of German emperor.
