McClain's Chalk Blended Paint is a decorative paint that needs no priming or sanding. Just add your imagination and it has limitless possibilities. This paint requires no sanding or priming, just a clean surface. Will work on Glass, metal, plastic, wood, cloth, leather. Instructions for use included with purchase.
No need to Prime or sand, just wipe off with a damp cloth, remove any loose paint or dirt. Yes you can paint right over rust!

Our paint is very low odor no VOC, and is made with 100% Pharmaceutical grade calcium carbonate-  or chalk
SHAKE OR STIR WELL BEFORE USING.
1) Apply Paint with Paint brush, foam brush or roller. A little bit goes a long way. Use several light coats. For a smoother finish add a little water. If you prefer a thicker paint, you can leave the lid off and allow to dry and thicken.  The softer the bristle brush the smoother the finish.
2) if you want a wash (stain look) add water achieve a thin coating. Wipe with rag immediately after application. This will reveal the natural wood grain.
3) You can use a 2 paint method. Either paint a base paint, or use an item that has already been painted. Put the 2nd paint on top then sand till you achieve the finish you want.
4) This paint dries quickly. You can apply several light coats and sand lightly in between coats for a smooth beautiful finish.
5) Once you achieve the finish desired, you will need to seal the paint. There are 2 methods. You can use a spray acrylic top coat in satin or matte. Or you can use furniture wax polish to seal. Rub in deeply. If you want a patina in the wax, you can mix a small amount of chalk paint to get the desired finish.
6) You can mix colors to achieve different shades. Use Wedding White for a diluted shade. Mix any colors for new colors!
7) Cleans up with soap and water
