    Description

NATIVE AMERICAN ARTIFACT TOOL DRILL OR AWL HANDLE/GRINDING,SMOOTHING TOOL .
FOUND IN ARKANSAS 20 MILES FROM PARKIN AR WHICH IS KNOWN FOR FACT TO HAVE BEEN HERNANDO DESOTO'S FAVORITE PLACE. HE WAS HERE FROM 1541 UNTIL HIS DEATH IN 1542. HE WAS HORRIBLE TO THE NATIVES BUT THE TECHNOLOGY HE BROUGHT HELPED FORM A VERY ADVANCED SOCIETY FOR NATIVE AMERICANS AT THE TIME
THIS WAS THE HANDLE TO SOME SORT OF DRILL OR AWL WITH WHATEVER WAS ON THE END BROKEN OFF LONG AGO. NATIVE AMERICANS WOULD REPURPOSE OLD TOOLS AND THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN USED AS A SMALL MORTAR AND PESTLE PIECE OR AS A SMOOTHING TOOL FOR CLAY OBJECTS. ALSO COULD HAVE BEEN USED IN THE PREPARATION OF PELTS GETTING THE EDGES  READY FOR STITCHING. I GOT ALL OF THIS INFO FROM A VERY REPUTABLE NATIVE AMERICAN RESEARCHER WITH 60 YEARS EXPERIENCE HUNTING AND SELLING ARTIFACTS.

    THANKS FOR LOOKING! --616--
616 trading co has no reason to believe that the expert is wrong in his determination on this product but accepts no liability as to its original use. I did find the rock personally though in the grain fields of Arkansas so I can guarantee it's not a modern shaped piece.
