Nicely woven yarn sash that IS THE REAL DEAL AND MADE FOR TRIBAL USE. IT HAS RAISED PORTIONS EXHIBITING SUPERIOR WEAVING SKILLS. These are woven like a rug on a loom. They are normally worn around the waist of Navajo singers, the elderly, and most ages of women and even as an aid in childbirth. The colors and technique are extraordinary and it is in excellent condition. The Hopis and other pueblo tribes purchase these for use in Katsina dances sometimes. The time and technique involved in these old traditional pieces of native clothing is incredible. Worthy of any level collection or can even be worn if desired, it has NO RESERVE !
