*THESE SEATS WILL NOT FIT ANY COUPES OR CONVERTIBLES~! *
READ THIS PLEASE: Th
is auction is for a full set of RARE "MAHARAJA BLUE" 1975 Cadillac Sedan Deville seats, in unusually clean shape for being 46 years old.
These will fit the 1971-76 Cadillac Sedan DeVille, Calais Sedan, and Fleetwoods / Fleetwood Broughams. The Fleetwood is a "C-Body" GM car....the Buick Electra and Olds 98 are also C-Body cars and these should work in those sedans. (I have pics of the backsides, pull yours and verify before purchasing).
Will these work in any other GM full size 4-DOOR sedans from 1971-76 (Technically they are "B-Body" sedans...Buick LeSabre / Centurion, Chevrolet Impala / Caprice, Olds 88, and Pontiac Grandville / Catalina / Bonneville)? I believe they will.
The front seats will for sure....I don't know if the mounts, curvatures, or dimensions for the rear are the same..so double check using the specs shown in the last picture.
NOTE:
Power seat tracks are not included but available at extra cost.
Driver side skirt has the cutout for the 6 way power seat switch.
NOTE:
These are NOT for use in a coupes (2 door models), since the front seats do not fold forward
....and the lower rear seats are not shaped properly for coupe fit...and the upper rear is like 4-6 inches wider. The taper on the rear lower edges is greater than a true coupe seat.
NOTE:
MAHARAJAH BLUE
was a very low production cloth & leather pattern, only made in 1975~~! Cadillac "Blues" were quite popular this year, 5 material variations were available.
DETAILS: The 1975 Sedan Deville (68K miles) has the beautiful but rare Maharajah Blue seating....cloth material with blue leather trims (all related blue interior parts available for sale). The seats has survived well....Aside from just a little seam looseness in one spot on the driver seat (see close-up), the material is in nice "Survivor" shape for it's 46 years of age. Great coloring, not faded. No tears in the cloth or the leather (A few crack lines in the front leather armrest, see pics as well). Frames are in great shape, especially the rear ones which can be rusty from leaky rusted floors, etc. Both armrests and the headrests work great. Carpeting on the backside of the front seat is really nice. Straps are complete and really clean. It's incredibly hard to find used seats of this quality level any more...so don't snooze and lose on this nice set. Overall I would score them around a 8.5-9.0 on a 10 scale. It's hard not to love these cool old seats! Very elegant looking material. Give them a good cleaning and a good home in your vintage 1970's Sedan~!
P.S. I
didn't detail the seats for the pics, simply wiped them off/vacuumed them....You should probably rent an upholstery cleaner and give them a deep clean...they will look even better. (A gentle steam clean with a good fabric softener). The upper rear seat foam is a little "crunchy / dried out" under the cloth (at the top), the fabric softener helps that a bit. The main foam backing from the rear side is very flexible and bouncy.
These seats would be a great and cost effective replacement for your Cadillac, Buick Electra or Olds 98 sedan...or probably any GM B-Body sedan from Chevy/Buick/Olds/Pontiac. Recovering seats (non original materials) usually costs -5K, depending upon materials and complexity of the pattern.
Note: Power seat tracks/wiring are not included. Available separately if you are converting to power seats.
Note: I also have the matching door panels, visors and full dash available from this car. Visit the Caddypartz e-Bay store to see everything or contact me.
Please-Mail me with questions. This is listed as PICKUP ONLY. Full Payment is due in 3 days after purchase. I can store them free of charge for 30 days once they are paid in full. u-ship.com is a great place to get shipping prices, but there are other options as well. Packaging fee for the seats is (This is not crating, but using a heavy tarp and commercial tape/rope to make a single package that UPS Freight or other companies will accept). u-ship owner-operators will generally not require that level of packing, but will blanket wrap the seats and strap them into their truck.
If you are located in the Midwest, I can deliver them for a charge....states of Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio......and possibly Western NY/Penn....and possibly Kentucky. Message me to discuss.
